Purchase of Commercial Freehold
We were approached to advise a client in the motor trade who wanted to buy some new commercial premises. He ran a well-established business with a good level of profitability, but he only had a small cash stake and he had regularly exceeded his bank account limits. He had, however, found a property that was reasonably priced because it was in need of improvement.
We arranged a secured business loan with a High Street bank which was secured by a charge over the property and a second charge over his personal home.
